1939 Chevy Bookmobile.
Custom-built Chevy woody wagons don’t get much rarer than this Bookmobile beauty from the public library system in New Castle County Delaware. This 1939 Chevrolet appears to a one-off or maybe even a multiple special-rum builds from one of the East Coast wagon builders like Cantrell or Campbell. This wagon was engineered to fold out
on both sides to display books when they stopped at schools and for residents around the county. The librarian usually drove the wagon and had an assistant to help with the check out-checks in of the books.
